Tina is a self-taught artist, and has been crafting, painting, and sculpting for over 20 years.
Inspired by the natural beauty of driftwood she gathers from the beaches and lake shores of the Northwest,
 she began combining it with self-hardening resin clay to create these unique works.
The clay is a two part epoxy that is adhered and blended into the surface of the wood to form faces
and details, while most of the wood is left in its natural state,
 allowing the shape and texture of the driftwood to guide the creation of each sculpture. 
Some pieces are exquisitely painted and others are left unpainted,  and some are a comibination of both.
In any case the beauty of the driftwood's natural shape shows through.
  Her work covers many genres...Fantasy, Folk Art, Mythology,
Americana, Native American and Seasonal subjects such as Old World Santas.
